On December 3, 2024, we hosted our first annual Giving Tuesday dinner at La Dồng, a new Vietnamese restaurant in New York City. Our inaugural Table of Dreams felt like a dream – but we keep coming back to one word: family. From the heaping platters of bún chả, to the steaming bowls of phở gà, to the refreshingly caffeinated cà phê đá – everything was just too delicious to be true. But interwoven amongst it all was the festive sounds of laughter, joy, and kinship. It felt like home.
